SYNOPSIS

            Work holding is the most essential act to carry out machining.  These are commonly used in the machine shop.

1.      To hold the job in proper position

2.      To hold the job rigidly

3.      To prevent vibration of the job while the machining is carried out.

             There are many types of work holding devices like machine vices swivel vices, universal vice, pipe vice, T-Bolt’s ‘U’ clamps, Goose neck clamp, angle plate, Jigs and fixtures etc.  These are all mechanical type work holding devices. In this project we are dealing about the pneumatic plain vice used in drilling machine.  Here the loading and unloading is quick.  The job can be held more rigidly.

AGRICULTURAL PADDY CLEANING SYSTEM USING SOLAR POWER

SYNOPSIS

This project deals with design and fabrication of a “AGRICULTURAL PADDY CLEANING SYSTEM USING SOLAR POWER”.  This non-conventional device basically consists of a G.I Metal sheet which serves as a hopper.  The bottom of the hopper has opening through which the material falls on a hose.

 

          The machine, Solar paddy cleaning , we introduce through our project is mainly useful for Agricultural purpose.  This machine works under non-conventional energy which is the ultimate source for all living beings.  The solar energy is converted into electrical energy with the help of solar cells.  The converted electrical energy is completely stored in the battery.  A  D.C. Motor is run by utilizing this electrical energy.  A different type of paddy is splited with the help of blower  unit.  This machine is also used to spilitted  not only the solid substance and also dummy paddy . The device can be operated by a single person and an unskilled labour can operate it.  Using this, a single person can sow paddy  and cover an area of 6 hectares of land on a single day.

 The aim of the project is pneumatic operated water pumping system. Pneumatic Water pumping system are reciprocating pump in which the piston is provided for the pumping action.  The piston is reciprocated with the help of a pneumatic cylinder and solenoid valve.
