ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)


The aim is to design and develop a control system based on breaking system of an electronically controlled safely automotive wheel braking system. Based on this model, control strategies such as an 'antilock braking system' (ABS) and improved maneuverability via individual wheel braking are to be developed and evaluated.
The anti-lock brake controller is also known as the CAB (controller anti-lock brake). An anti-lock braking system (commonly known as ABS, from the German name "Antiblockiersystem") is a system on motor vehicles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking. The purpose of this is twofold: to allow the driver to maintain steering control and to shorten braking distances.
The solenoid controlled braking system is used for this project. When the brake pedal or Bush Button is activated by the driver, the solenoid Valve (Cut off Valve) activates/deactivate the pneumatic braking system simultaneously at constant speed. The braking is applied gradually to the vehicle, so that the vehicle stops smoothly with safe.

                                   SYNOPSIS

 

 

Energy plays an important role in the material, social and cultural life of man kind.  The energy needs are increasing day by day.  This is the result of population growth and increase in the standard of living which is directly proportional to energy consumption.

 


The lifting of water for drinking or irrigation purposes is of great importance in widely distributed villages with little or no rural electrification and where under ground water is available.  Solar energy is converted to mechanical energy to drive small water pumps it would be of great help to the rural inhibitions.

In our project we use solar photo voltaic cells for pumping water.  The photo voltaic modules convert sunlight direct to electricity which is used to run a dc motor pump for bailing of water.  It consists of solar photo voltaic modules, power conditioner to protect storage batteries from over charging during non-sun shine and a dc water pump.

SYNOPSIS


This project deals with design and fabrication of a “AGRICULTURAL PADDY CLEANING SYSTEM USING SOLAR POWER”.  This non-conventional device basically consists of a G.I Metal sheet which serves as a hopper.  The bottom of the hopper has opening through which the material falls on a hose.


 

          The machine, Solar paddy cleaning , we introduce through our project is mainly useful for Agricultural purpose.  This machine works under non-conventional energy which is the ultimate source for all living beings.  The solar energy is converted into electrical energy with the help of solar cells.  The converted electrical energy is completely stored in the battery.  A  D.C. Motor is run by utilizing this electrical energy.  A different type of paddy is splited with the help of blower  unit.  This machine is also used to spilitted  not only the solid substance and also dummy paddy . The device can be operated by a single person and an unskilled labour can operate it.  Using this, a single person can sow paddy  and cover an area of 6 hectares of land on a single day.
