Project Title : FABRICATION OF PEDAL POWERD HACKSAW MACHINE WITH DUAL CHAIN DRIVE SYSTEM PROJECTS
ABSTRACT
Pedal operated hacksaw machine is an Innovative project which can be used in all residences, offices in which no specific input power is needed. It consists of a sprocket arrangement and the crank and slider mechanism has used, the extended rod is directly connected to the hacksaw for the processing of cutting the wooden blocks.
The main approach of this concept is used to reduce the human effort to machining the various materials such as wooden blocks, PVC etc…,
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The hacksaw is the pipe cutting machine tool which is designed to cut pipe by applying through the foot operated. Here the pedals are arranged in the center of the cam device to operate the hacksaw with use to help the rotation of cam in forward and reverse direction. The link is connected with hacksaw frame; here we the rotary motion is converted is into linear direction simple in construction. The front end of the frame we are coupled with the weight which is present on the top of the hacksaw machine frame which is used to apply the cutting force while on cutting process is done. The work piece is fixed on the pipe vice .By this process cutting operation is done through the machine.
